CITU to organize mass rally in Agartala on Jan 8th
The Tripura unit of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) in association of all working classes will organize a mass rally at Vivekananda stadium in Agartala on January 8th next.
Addressing a press conference here at CITU office on Friday afternoon, CITU leaders Sankar Prasad Datta and former minister Manik Dey slamming the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh(BMS) for their alleged extortion in all trade points, they said that the condition of working classes are being deteriorating day by day.
Senior leader Manik Dey highlighting the less mandays through MGNREGA and TUEP said that poorer sections of the society are suffering a lot in absence of mandays. He said that the way Tripura government is functioning cannot continue their anti-people policies as people are getting united to restore democracy in the state. He said that protesting the anti-people and anti-working class policies of the BJP government, the CITU will organize a mass rally in Agartala on January 8th next.
